You will or have discovered that you have found yourself at the edge of a lush forest filled with fruits, birds, and let’s not forget the crazy tree frogs. Congratulations!! You have chosen WISELY! Everything in this book is pretty true and helpful.
Enjoy waking up and watching the steamy volcano and looking over one of the most scenic highlights in the West Indies, the Pitons. We come from a pretty big “Farm to table” and craft beer culture so one of the restaurants highlights was Boucan at Hotel Chocolat. Personally, I am a Bellini Connoisseur meaning I have never had one I didn’t like. Here though I had the fresh Cacao Bellini. I will probably dream of this fusion of fruit and prosecco the rest of my life. My husband had some Antilla Brewing Company (It was in the BIG BOTTLES), which he liked. We did a lot of relaxing and unthawing from the cold Vermont “winters”. I say winters, because it would warm up and then we would have a Nor’easter. This happened about 3 times before we left. So St. Lucia was what we needed! Enjo the local hospitailiy and food. They are all very proud of their home and want you to enjoy it. If you want to kick up the spice of local traditional food try the Baron’s Hot Sauce. DO IT SLOWLY THOUGH! I love hot sauce and bought 3 bottles to take home. Also if you like a stronger coffee the Green Fold was pretty good. You will see these two things sold at the resorts, but you can get them right at Eroline’s Supermarket. Please also check out Helpaws! They are a Canadian based organization trying to turn the animal welfare around in St. Lucia. I would take them all home with me if I could. Have the best time, Corey & Alina Comments are closed.
