Let me start off this note by saying WOW! This villa is a secluded slice of heaven. We just came from Sargas Villa the last 5 days- so this was a nice change of scenery. You really feel like you’re in a jungle. Absolutely love the place. After an eventful few days it was so nice to relax and enjoy St. Lucia from our home away from home. We were so lucky to spend some time with Janus too! We ended up chilling by the pool on the deck with some rum drinks . After that we kicked back and relaxed before making dinner. We cooked some fresh veggies, chix and had some cheese crackers. Janus dropped by at about 7:30 and we spent 5 hours talking about life. If you have the chance to spend some time with the host and get to know his story then I highly recommend doing so! We had an absolute blast with him. The next day we tried out the drone around the villa. So cool and shout out to Janus for bringing us an SD card because we forgot one. This was another day of relaxing . To top off our last night in St. Lucia we knew we had to hire Chef Ramsey. (many times too!) we had the chicken curry this time after the grilled seafood amazing is an understatement . Guaranteed food coma! Chef Ramsey even brought us desert. I wrote in the last book it feels like you’re royalty here and that has continued the whole time. Now its off to the Botanical Gardens before we jet off back to Boston. I could not be more grateful for the beautiful people we have met here. Especially Janus and his entire family/team. All of the villas are arts he put soo much love into- truly awesome and inspiring. Get a tour of another one if you can. Thank you again for the most magical trip. We love you and we will be friends for life XO Kels & Nick After planning this trip for almost 2 years, I cannot believe our time at Serrana Villa is over already. Honestly what sold us on St. Lucia is this Villa! We wanted to go somewhere with great beaches, tropical jungle + plenty adventure. St. Lucia perfectly has all of that + Serrana was the perfect place to call home while we explored this incredible island.
Janus is an incredible host! We feel like we’ve known him forever. He was so welcoming and friendly plus his Villa is a little slice of heaven! Our Tips: - Rent a car from Janus. He gives you a cooler plus a cellphone with your rental. We rented from another company and wished we had a cooler. - If hiking Gros Piton, make sure you have 1.5L of water per person. The guides will check to make sure you have enough before they bring you up + you will want it! Plus, we also recommend freezing a bottle of water the night before and leaving it in the car while you hike, that way you’ll have cool water waiting for you when done! - Try Piton Beer, it’s worth it. Thank you, Janus, for making our time in Soufriere so amazing. We cannot wait to come back someday! Corbin + Alyssa Mattson Minnesota The Park’s Honeymoon – Tiffany & Andy Park |
WEATHER IN SAINT LUCIA
While most places in the world have four well-defined seasons, its proximity to the equator means that this is not really the case for the island of St. Lucia. Archives
