We’ve had the best time here at Seranna Villa, it was the perfect way to kick off our honeymoon!

We arrived late Thursday afternoon + got picked up by Fabian. Made a quick stop at a grocery store which was perfect. I was so delighted to see that they were giving free pasta, which is one of my favorites. Chilled at the villa that night and soaked in the beautiful views.

The next day we walked into the town. Highly recommend the walk. It’s about 20 minutes to get to the waterfront. If you need to take out cash, go to the CIBC First Caribbean Bank. They take international cards. We enjoyed wondering throughout the town, got a beer at a local bar (don’t know the name) and hang out by the Bay. By the time we made the walk back we couldn’t have been happier to have a pool to hang out in. 

That night we had a dinner reservation at Jade Mountain! If you want to Catch the sunset be there by 5:30/6:00. The sun was already set by the time we got there. The drive up to Jade Mountain is crazy! Worst road ever but so worth it. The grounds are absolutely stunning + the service was incredible, from start to finish. Regarding the food, I need to say this, we are both foodies + have had some amazing dinner experiences over the years. The presentation of each dish was fantastic and really enjoyed our meal, but we weren’t blown away. But the scenery was amazing.

The next morning, we made a nice breakfast and used the Mangoes Janus provided to make a delicious mango chutney. We then walked to the Diamond Botanical Gardens. Once again, a very nice walk. The entry is $7 USD or $17.50 EC per person. Loved the garden + loved the Diamond Waterfalls! We then headed to the waterfront + made our way to Hummingbird Restaurant and Resort for lunch. Once again beautiful views + we had a lovely lunch while tiring it all in. Janus picked up + on the way back he showed us his other properties as well as the site of his newest development which is sure to be epic! 

That evening we went to Dasheene at Ladera Resort and our minds were blown! This place has the absolute best views of the pitons + the food was incredible, still high end but more authentic + each and every dish was oh so favorable. If you can only do one I’d pick Dasheene over Jade Mountain although you can’t go wrong with either.
