A huge thank you to Janus and his team for being there when needed and always available!
First we rented a car from Island Car rental, who Janus recommended. They were fantastic! We gave them a ride back from Vieux Fort to Soufriere. On the way they pointed out all the sights to see. They also helped us shop at Massy’s Grocery Store. Super Helpful guys!! We bought stuff to drink and small meals/snacks for when we hang out at the villa. We chilled the first evening we arrived, so we would be fresh for the next day. We wanted to walk into town and see the town. Wonderful people and very helpful. We talked with ‘’Bushman’’ and he was going to hook us up with a boat ride to see the batcave, sugar beach and hike up to the warm waterfall on Pitit Piton for $200. My husband got to snorkel and loved it at sugar beach. $50 just to get into the resort, we were at and extra for gear. We felt it was worth it since we had the gears w/ ‘’bushman’’ and local tour with escort. – 3 hours but well worth it! We walked from the Villa all down town to become familiar and then on the walk back we walked up the path to the Botanical Gardens and waterfall/baths. That was beautiful and a nice soak. The best place to go for a relax and informational tour was the Sulphur Springs and mud baths. It’s a few minutes drive south of Soufriere and a must! Tour is short but good and the mud bath makes you feel 10 years younger. We went up to Castries on a sunset tour, which was nice but probably wouldn’t redo. Fun and good view to check out the north part of the Island. We went to New Jerusalem waterfall and hot spring just up the road and are a must!!! Go during the week so you don’t get a crowd!!! The best meal I had (well we both had) was at hummingbird beach resort. I had the lobster and my husband had the steak. Best lobster I have ever had! $60 per plate Orlando’s was good but limited menu. Great owner, fun to talk to. Not always open so best to check first before making the trip. One day we went to the (ti-kaye resort and spa) with the Island divers. Crazy road to get there once off the main road past the capital, the canaries but beautiful views. We loved the beach!!! Heard the snorkeling was good too but got massages instead. The view from the couples massage room was amazing! Food was alright, the merlin appetizer was a must though! Best beach in my opinion sand wise sugar beach was great for snorkeling! Went by boat to Viceroy resort. We had a chef for the last night come to the house and cook for us. It was amazing and would do it again if we were staying longer. Janus hooked us up with an amazing time Best honeymoon vacation!!! From Heather and Jesse Bryant Comments are closed.
