Our eight day “home away from home” was wonderful!! The villa had everything we needed. The location is perfect! In fact, I’m not leaving (you can’t make me…okay maybe you can 😊 ). I can’t say enough about all your drivers. They are prompt (very), reliable, but most of all very nice and informative. We were too wimpy to drive on the left so we had drivers for everything we could not walk to. If you can drive comfortably here, I would. That is our only regret. Although the drivers were always available, we would have enjoyed the freedom to explore (maybe next time)..
As far as what to do, we agree that Tet Paul is a must. We didn’t get to the waterfall (next time). We loved sugar beach and anse chastanet. We paid $100 at sugar beach for the chairs and shade. It was comfortable and relaxing and for us it was worth it. We also stayed overnight one evening at Anse Chastanet Resort. We do that every time we go away (stay somewhere else one night). We had dinner at Jade Mountain ($500 dinner, but with good wine). It was very nice and the food was excellent. Also the beach restaurant there has excellent plantain and sweet potato chips with guac! Next time I would like to spend a day at Anse Mamin. We walked there for exercise but didn’t’ stay. It was very pretty and I hear the burgers there are the best. I should also mention we did a sunset cruise (Mystic Man Tours $66pp). the was def a highlight. It was so much fun! We saw so many dolphins, great must, not crowded, finger foods and plenty to drink. If we had more time I would do one of their day excursions. Now our favorites…dinner 😊 Dasheene – Views were amazing!!! Food was not. Music was great both times we went. So…, go for drinks and apps and the music. Boucan – Great Views, great food “Except curry chicken, not good). They put chocolate in almost everything so really, lest be honest, how bad could it be (Lava choc cake was amazing). Jade Mountain – Great views, great good and service $$$... Petit Peak – Walkable (Although we didn’t). only place open on good Friday. Fun little place on the water. Food was okay but not great. Had an island feel so we liked that. Hummingbird – Food was good, not great. Planned to go to Orlando’s but it was closed. Good service. Lunch at Sugar Beach Tapas – Great lunch (twice). With great views. Relaxing! Mango Tree – Great Views and great food. The fish of the day was fantastic! Beautiful views, nice servers. Went here on our last night but wish we did it earlier because we would have gone back. We at breakfast at Serrana Villa most days (shopped downtown first day). Enjoyed having quiet breakfast out at the beauty of St. Lucia. Janus and his team were fantastic. (Hopefully one day he can come to beautiful Cap May NJ and we can reciprocate 😊 ). We really enjoyed our “Talks” with Janus!! Good luck with everything. Until Next Time.
