Serrana Villa is the only place to stay in St. Lucia tucked away in a residential corner of Soufriere with all the sounds and smells of local life!
Janus is super friendly and easy to talk to and is a true Super host. Wondered around Soufriere many times meeting some very interesting local characters and just soaking up everyday life. Tet Paul Nature Trail was an easy short trail with a very knowledgeable guide and spectacular views. Visited Laborie Beach and virtually had the whole beach to ourselves. Watched a local cricket match (ground right next to each) Saw local fishermen at work and chilled out in beach bar called Salt Rush. Diamond Falls & Botanical Gardens is lovely and cool with some amazing plants and birds and worth the visit. Rainforest Adventure Zip line tour is a fun way to learn about the rain forest. Situated in Chassin in the Babonneau region of the Island found in the North-East part of St. Lucia. Our guide Terry and Akim were awesome and explained so much about the rain forest eco system as we zipped from Tree to tree. Our Safety and well-being was their first priority, and I would highly recommend this trip! Atlantic Shores Horse Riding is worth a visit if you fancy riding horses on the beach as we did. It is situated on the other side of Vieux-Fort past Hewanorra Airport. The staff are friendly and constantly checking to make sure everything is okay. The horsed are well cared for and are a joy to ride. Our guide was excellent and took time to answer any questions we had and made the whole experience memorable! Morne Coubaril Estate Tour lasted 30 minutes and gave you a brief insight of plantation life both past and present. Choiseul Art Gallery is on the main road heading towards Vieux-Fort, It is run by Hattie Bernard who paints, writes and makes Crafts. Hattie is very friendly and easy to talk with, most of her arts is inspired by St. Lucia Jane & Neil From England Comments are closed.
