We have had the greatest time here in St. Lucia and Janus has been incredibly hospitable and a great service. Here are some tips that I hope future guests will find helpful:
-We were here to celebrate a 40th birthday so we made a reservation for dinner at Jade Mountain at Sunset. It was quite expensive (if you’re a drinker like us!) but it was hands down, one of the best nights I’ve had in my life. The view was incredible and the staff worked us up with so many little extras and they had an awesome steel drum player going around each table and he took requests. So great! -Right as the sun goes down at the house, you will see nature come alive. We love sitting in the pool at night to watch the bats and hear all the amazing noises. We even saw an opossum climb the papaya tree to feast on a papaya one night. -Rent a car and explore! Keep in mind the roads are windy so take caution. We drove to Rodney Bay and Marigot Bay one day. It was fun but we all agreed staying in Soufriere was the best choice. -We echo previous guest sentiment about Sugar Beach. It was breathtakingly Beautiful. -We found that due to the time of year we were here, that many restaurants were closed- especially for dinner. If that happens to you, Mango Tree or Sugar Beach are on option. We also cooked at home a couple nights. -Anse Chastanet – The have a good restaurant on the beach. It was a bit pricey but the veggie burger was Delicious! In closing you will enjoy your trip here! From the amazing views, friendly people, culture and the beautiful beaches and nature, you will be very glad you came! DONNIE Comments are closed.
