Day 1:
We arrived mid-afternoon from the north side of the island- what a drive! Janus was here to meet us and show us around the villa. We had a few pitons here then headed to Anse Chastanet for a couple drinks and the sunset ($25 USD- 1 piton+ Pina colada) Beautiful black sand + breathtaking spot for sunset. The drive to the beach is intense, but we were glad we rented a car through island cars 😊. Headed back to the villa for dinner then rest. Day 2: Breakfast + Coffee at the villa to start our day and take in the view. Headed straight to the Tet Paul Nature Trail for our 1st stop ( $10 USD pp) This is a must with stunning views! Next stop was Piton Falls ($3 USD PP) and then to the Sulphur Springs mud baths ($55UDD PP). Both equally fun but they don’t take very long, we made it back to the villa before noon for lunch + pitons. Tanned and drank by the pool for quite a while then Janus picked us up for a tour of Sargas Villa. Beautiful view and Janus’s story is so inspiring!! Dinner at Boucan with an amazing view of Petit Piton + the sunset. I enjoyed the food but my husband did not. If we were to go back we’d skip straight to the lava cake! ($175 USD- 5 drinks, 1 app, 2 entres + dessert) Day 3: We started at Sugar Beach for a beautiful day in the sun. Parked at the top, walked down ($10 to park) Laid our towels in front of a big sandy tree and enjoyed the amazing view. This is a must-see beach in our eyes. Blaze helped us out with snorkel gear ($10 USD pp) plus the fishes were incredible here! Bring a little bread in your pockets to feed the fishes, they will go nuts! We also had two Pina Coladas from Blaze ($15 for 2) they were delish but weak! We went to the bar to get a receipt and a ride back up the hill and we had an amazing day. Back to the Villa for showers + dinner. Then to Dasheene for drinks + dessert. If you like pistachio ice cream then you will love theirs! The people were extremely kind here! Day 4: Headed to Anse Mamin to hit the beach bright and early! Since we were there all day we bought the beach chairs ($16/pp) + it was totally worth it! We were bummed to find out you cannot rent snorkeling gear but we made the best of the crystal-clear water and black sand. Split the buffer + everyone raves about it… So worth it!! Extremely sun burnt we decided to stay at the villa + the views of the pitons on our last day. Special thank you to Janus+ wonderful team! The fresh fruit and bread were added bonuses to this amazing villa + for the day the stores were closed early due to carnival we could not find rum. Janus sent his team to find rum and Pina Colada ingredients + bring them to our door! Just wow! Your hospitality + customer service is amazing + your happy smile is contagious! Keep being awesome 😊 Chris + Alex Beeken St. Louis, MO Comments are closed.
