"In a coconut shell (haha) we had a great time and Janus and his accommodations were spectacular."

10/1/2016

Our time in St. Lucia, in this Villa was spectacular! The Villa and the view is incredible! I f we could, we would quit our jobs and live here forever!

Janus…Janus! That’s all we can say. He has been a great host. He picked us up on a Sunday and provided us with groceries to hold us over until we could go into the town and buy. He was full of great advice on places to visit, restaurants to eat at, and contact information. He even provided us with fresh bread his mother baked every other day (delicious). Hurricane Matthews came and rained us in for 2 days and Janus checked in on us and made sure we had enough supplies!
Now for the rest of St. Lucia. Due to the rain, we lost 2 days, but we made most of the other days. Ruby’s was one of our best dining experiences. She was closed most of the week and opened on our last night, but the wait was worth it. The margarhete pizza was delicious and the fried calamari was life! Highly recommend going.
  •  Hotel Chocolat/Boucan Restaurant – We had a lovely afternoon dining at the restaurant for dinner. The view of the Piton was beautiful as we watched the sun set. It was a bit pricey but the food was good (not the best), the Pumpkin soup was great and the Chocolate Molten cake was amazing (get it). The drinks wasn’t the best, or maybe it was just us.
  •  Sugar Beach Restaurant- Beautiful ambiance and the food was fantastic! Much better than chocolat. Every course was rich and flavorful! Would’ve gone again if we had the time.
  •  Sulphur Springs- Due to the storm we couldn’t dip into the mud, but we did get to run in on our skin (the white mud). Also due to the storm we got to do the tour for free! Even if we had to pay, it would still be worth the trip.
  • Diamond Waterfall- Very beautiful, went for free, making it even better! Great place to bath.
  • Soufriere Zip-lining- MUST GO! It was great, better than tree top zip-lining. After the first course, the remaining 6 were from tree-top to tree-top. The other one requires you to walk to each course.

In a coconut shell (haha) we had a great time and Janus and his accommodations were spectacular. Whoever reads this, take our advice, come here, enjoy your stay and tell your friends! We will definitely be back!

    WEATHER IN SAINT LUCIA
While most places in the world have four well-defined seasons, its proximity to the equator means that this is not really the case for the island of St. Lucia.
