Beautiful Island, Wonderful Host- Janus is ‘’one of a kind’’ – definitely a star! Provided not only his mom’s bread, local fruits, lime, avocados. Got lots of info about the island, best places to go, how to get there etc.
His drivers were also great, very helpful too! Unfortunately is rained a lot of the time which restricted our sight seeing a lot. We did visit diamond waterfalls, Sulphur baths & Botanical. The place provided ‘umbrella coves’. We didn’t have a guide, we just wondered, everything was sign posted and name tagged. We went on the Sunset Cruise, no sunset but plenty of rain and lightning storm, didn’t dampen our spirit, rum punch and nibbles provided (mystic man cruise) again staff was great, went talking to everyone etc. We ate in Orlando’s, Boucan @ Hotel Chocolat & Jade Mountain, all great for different reasons. Locally- we ate at Pitit Peak, Fedo’s and Ruby’s (twice), agree with some comments made about Ruby’s. Skippers, Big Yard, Sea View & Outside Bar at Pier 28. Everything is in walking distance which is great. Supermarket stocks a good range of provisions if you prefer to cook at home All in all, great experience and worth another visit.
