We arrived late afternoon ( we had previously spent a week at the north port of the island at East Winds, highly recommend) We were greeted by Janus and he showed us around the villa + made us feel right at home. We hanged around the villa then walked to Ruby’s for dinner which was very good. I strongly recommend wearing sneakers on the walk, the walk up the villa is very steep! After dinner we walked around a little bit, but found there wasn’t many people out, so we decided to return to the villa and rest.
Walked to the Botanical Gardens, Diamond Falls. Easy walk + well worth the $7 ticket price. We then walked to the waterfront and got a mango smoothie at Zaka (delicious). We got lunch at Fedos. They were out of the Roti which we were told by several locals that they are the best around here so we goy chicken instead. Food was good, not out of this world good but decent. We went to dinner at Mango Tree which was amazing, great view! Food is a little pricy but to be expected at a resort
Rain! We went to hotel Chocolat to do the tour which was fun for a rainy day and views were lovely. The food was very good. We went to Jade mountain for dinner, AMAZING VIEWS EVER! Food was very good. Expensive but I am glad we went. It was a very cool experience.
Heading home today so we just relaxed at the villa. We love St. Lucia and will definitely come back.
Some things we recommend doing: Visit the Sulphur springs- very unique experience
Take a boat tour to see the island- it was very fun
Thank you, Janus, for the hospitality!
