Each time I return home to my island, I am always taken back with the beauty. Soufriere is such a splendid place. One of the most untouched and growing glory. The pitons are awesome, the direct views from the villa, the sea, the sunset and the sleeping village down below makes you feel like you are in paradise. 

Our host Janus, is a pleasure he is what I would call a “a yes man”. He makes it his duty to make sure that your stay is one you will never forget. I pray that I return to this place. Such fun, such pleasure. 
A big thank you to you and your team Janus, a job well done.

I am St. Lucian and I was amazed by the spectacular views of the pitons. Janus has done a wonderful job here and I hope others follow through. Definitely you must do the Sulphur Springs.

The restaurant “Le Chocolat” was an experience and at night the view is superb, however the local eateries are hidden from where flavor delicacies were not so good.

Janus! What can I say? A fabulous host and a great one. He can and will do everything. A very unforgettable experience about St. Lucia. We will definitely be back!

Our stay here was nothing short of AMAZING! The villa was spectacular with an amazing view of the town of Soufriere & the majestic pitons.  Private chef dinner is a must, Chef Ramsey was great, food was superb. We had the creole chicken.

- SUNDAY, we relaxed in the villa and enjoyed the infinity pool.

- Tour with Janus Real St. Lucia Company, private island expo was fun, its customized to your needs. Nature trail, mud baths etc.

- Brunch at Dasheen was nice, get a good view of the pitons and the food was great.

- Must stop at Fedo’s for some good authentic St. Lucian food.

- Maries is also a great place for authentic Lucian food $15 buffet, can’t beat it.

- Use Janus’s transportation service to explore the island, town is about a 20 mins walk and can be difficult in the hot sun.

- Most nights were spent in the villa enjoying the pool, view + each other’s company.

- Pier 28 is a nice bar you can check out for some night life. They have a big fish bowl drink called the “HUHHH” must try good vibes.

- We had an amazing time and my boyfriend and I have already started planning our next visit.

We are in the midst of an 11-night stay at Sapphire Apartments (also owned by Janus). Sargas was available for one night so we decided to treat ourselves. What to say? 

Design- Love this place. The use of Mahogany both inside and out, the angles, the expanses of the glass the furniture add up to a beautiful villa. Very impressed.

Location- Well, that view. Beyond that. However, staying in Soufriere is so much more enriching than staying at a resort. The people of Soufriere are lovely and walking around the town makes giving a glimpse of local life. Best way to travel for sure. 

The Host- What can I say? Janus is the best. So attentive and accommodating. He has really created a paradise here. Everyone associated with him is equally the same. 

FOOD -

• Private Chef! Best meal ever. Do it!
• Fedos- Cheap, close, good/ local food.
• Ruby’s- Good food and cocktails.
• Marie’s – Good place to have lunch after visiting Diamond Falls.
• Belle View/ Sea View-  Down town with view of the water. Good local food.
• Whispers- A sports Bar apparently, we went at lunch time + all they had was fish and fries and it was great! Chicken and fries and it was great! .
• The beach bar at Sugar Beach- overprices but delicious.

STUFF TO DO –

• Snorkeling – Sugar Beach + Anse Chastnet both offer easy snorkeling from shore.
• Anse Mamin – Beautiful beach, 10mins walk from Anse Chastnet.
• Tet Paul Trail – Gorgeous!

Sargas was our second Air BnB in Soufriere and didn’t disappoint, the location is great, the views are stunning and Janus was a pleasure!  Our first night here we did the private catering with Ram-C. I highly recommend this! The food was some of the best we had and he was such good company. Not to mention how nice it was to have a meal prepared for you at “home” after a long day of excursions with the Joe’s Knows crew- also highly recommend!

Some of our favorites:

- Zaka’s café for coffee, smoothies & fun art
- Hummingbird/ Rum shack for food & drinks with a great view
- Anse Chastenet/ Jade Mountain for a great beach and yummy food options
- Ruby’s- amazing pizza & great relaxing atmosphere
- Dasheene’s- wow… food, views, drinks, sunset all incredible! O here- worth it!
- Joe Knows Land & Sea Tour- guides were fun, hilarious, full of great info & really show you a great time.
- Piton Hike- INTENSE but the views at the top are incredible!

Janus has a great spot here & is one of the nicest people. So thankful to have stayed here & we would love to visit again!

We came here because our friend got married at  Jade Mountain. 

Jamal was our driver all week and he was amazing (never late & always responsive). We had drinks at Anse on our first night in. the next morning, we hiked the Gros Piton. It was not easy. 
Half our group turned back halfway up. 

If you do this (and you should) bring lots of water, bug spray, sunscreen and a snack. We had dinner on the celestial terrace at Jade Mountain.  The food there is incredible, but I recommend going during the hours when the sun is out or at Sunset. On our third day, we did the mud bath and then had a sunset cruise. Highly recommend seeing St. Lucia from the water. On thing we didn’t expect was for the hike to be US$50.00 (just fyi, so you bring a card or cash).

We had the most wonderful time at Sargas. Janus is the man and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. We only stayed here for 2 days before going to Windjammer, but our stay was everything we could ask for. We went to the Boucan Restaurant at Hotel Chocolat on the first night and even though it was a bit pricey the food was delicious.

The 2nd day we hiked the piton and it was more challenging than anticipated. It’s more of a climb than a hike. After we relaxed by the pool and had Chef Ramsey (the private chef) come and cook us one of the best meals we had in a while. You must have him cook your meals one night you are here. We certainly will be back again!!

Being medical students desperate in need of a vacation, we found this place in the heart of Soufriere through Airbnb. 

It was the most perfect place to stay in to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and my boyfriend’s birthday on the same day!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better host 😊 Janus is such a sweetheart and immediately made us feel like family. Our stay was so perfect with all the amenities that Sargas Villa provided. Right from watching movies to taking a dip in the pool enjoying our beers. 

We would love to visit this place again as it is so well kept with the utmost hospitality. Now we surely can go back to our med school life after having our minds refreshed with Sargas.
