We knew as soon as we spotted Sargas online that it was where we wanted to end our honeymoon – it did not disappoint! Out of 3 places we stayed on the island, it was by far the most luxurious and worry-free, Thank you Janus!!

In the area:

• Sugar Beach: The shuttle policy must have recently changed – although it’s a public beach, we had to walk all the way down & up a steep incline to spend time there. Perhaps try telling them you’re getting drinks to get the shuttle? A bit overrated but still gorgeous.

 

• Mystic Man ½ day sail with snorkel: So, so, worth it! Lovely captain & crew, great views of coastline, good conversation, & a WONDERFUL remote-ish snorkeling spot in the Sugar Beach Bay!

 

• Petit Peak restaurant – so-so. Fine for a casual meal.

 

• Déjà vu Café: We only got coffee (instant but surprisingly good), but the service was friendly! Would have had a meal if we had more time. Extensive breakfast – dinner options.

 

• Skippers: if you can’t make it to Castries market for local fare, hit up the buffet, have $10 USD for huge portions of delish local eats.

 

• Diamond Falls/Gardens: short & sweet but worth it if you’re 1) a Superman fan or 2) you like learning about the lush vegetation here!

 

• Gros Piton Hike: last quarter is pretty tough but YES IT’S WORTH IT JUST GO ALREADY. Drink tons of water & pause going up. Or it will all hit you going down.

 

• Boucan @ Hotel Chocolat: THIS WAS A SURPRISE HIGHLIGHT GO GO RIGHT NOW. If the prices give you pause, just get an app or desert! We had the Mahi-Mahi risotto, beef flank, scallops, and lava cake. Oh my gosh. The tastes. The view. The SERVICE. YES.

 

• One last recommendation: if  you want a fun 35-mins-away diversion, drive to Balenbouche Estate. $5 USD admission to see beautiful grounds & trails, huge old Sugar mill ruins, secluded beaches, and the adorable canine guides on property!  Magical.
