We only stayed at Sargas 2 nights – for a little bit of luxury after working in the public hospital for 2 months! We have really enjoyed our stay and felt at home while we have been here.
A dip in the pool at Sunset to watch the sun fall over the pitons was fantastic! As for Soufriere we would definitely recommend climbing Gros Piton – it was an amazing experience with breathtaking views to the north and south of the island, although can be quite physically challenging! A visit to the Mango Tree Restaurant for lunch/dinner is also worthwhile and you can relax in their pool and admire petit piton from up close. The Sulphur Springs bath is good fun too and your skin is so smooth after (although don’t wear any clothes you particularly care about as the smell takes a few washes to get out!). a water taxi ride to Jalousie (Sugar Beach) is also perfect – tip * don’t pay the $55.00 USD, per person at sugar beach if you’re only going to use the beach – all beaches in St. Lucia is public & free to visit, or you’ll just be paying a fortune to use their shuttle bus. If you can, book a reservation at their restaurant instead and you can use the shuttle “for free”. Some St. Lucian food to try while you’re here:
Also if you’re here while T20/CPL (Cricket) is on then you must go! The ground is in Rodney Bay. We are missing it but the atmosphere is Fab! It’s basically a huge party. We cannot wait to come back to this beautiful island Thanks, Janus! Olivia and Chris Comments are closed.
