One of our favorite things was to enjoy the view + sunset from our pool + deck, it was always gorgeous! Sargas was the perfect special place for our honeymoon!

We love dour stay here! Janus was a great host and we immediately felt at home here. The view was better than we expected and the location was perfect! 

We rented a car during our stay, which we recommend as you have much more freedom to explore the island! (get a 4WD, jeep like/Jimmy – for the rough backroads) 

Our favorite beach was Anse Mamin, which we visited a few times and used the snorkeling equipment provided for us at this villa (top shelf in the closet) 

This beach was private and very quiet, and we usually had the beach to ourselves if we walked past the resort section of the beach. To get there you would first go to Anse Cahstanet – walk to the end of the beach on the resort side, up some stairs and follow a gravel path along the ocean until you saw the beach, about a 7 min walk. 

We enjoyed many of the other adventures Soufriere had to offer! 

Toraille Waterfall – close + cheap $3, go early around 10am to beat the crowd. We enjoyed the drive in volcano + mud baths as well! go early as well. we went to the volcano a second time and found a mini waterfall + bath for free! 

Park in the main lot + walk toward the main gate – before going through, look to your left + you will find a black fence+ stairway to lead you to your own personal bath. 

We hiked Gros Piton – no need for a reservation take the main road south + you will see signs after the chocolate plantation. Expensive + very exhausting! But we were so glad we did it. The views were incredible + it was a great experience. You get your own guide so you go at your own pace. We finished in a little over 3hrs. 

Sugar beach was gorgeous – long walk if you don’t pay, gorgeous location. We will be doing the 4 hour zipline tour in Dennery tomorrow. 

We cooked here a lot  - with eroline’s grocery very close in town for all the supplies. We purchased fresh fruit from the town + rum + made the best smoothies – made from the island!
