Day 1- arrived in St. Lucia at 2:30pm and had no problems with airport transfer. Malie was great and answered all our questions. He even stopped at a local bar for drinks and introduced us to some locals. It was thanks giving in St. Lucia so all the stores were closed, but we got some essentials at the gas station.. Hang out in the villa and took a relaxing tip in the pool. Day 2-Alton picked us up for our Soufriere tour. Volcano, Tet Paul, Botanical Gardens & Waterfall were all amazing. Alton took us for lunch at Belle View which was fantastic.. Try their rum punch. Its great!! Janus dropped off some fresh mangoes too!! Got ready then went for dinner at Dasheene at Ladera. Reservation was for 6 but we arrived at 5:15pm (do this). Had the place to ourselves for cocktails and best seats. The food and people were amazing would definitely go back. Day 3- One of our favorite days. Had pre-booked the romance rituals massage at Kaile belte spa At Anse Chastanet resort. The massage was very good and was nice as it was air conditioned. Afterwards we looked around the resort and decided to walk down to Anse Mamin. (it was an easy walk and worth it!) W e were one of 4 couples on the entire beach and got the beach package (chair & umbrella) Super quiet and staff was extremely friendly. Best burgers on the Island. Day 4- Villa Day!!! Relaxed by the pool. And relaxed at the wonderful Sargas. Got to tour Saba with and to hear about his top secret plans. Tried to go to Fedos for lunch but it was closed so went to Valelse instead and it was well worth the 2 extra blocks. Try the chicken roti. Got to know some locals. Came back to get ready for Chef Ramsey. He came at 6:00pm and he was extremely friendly and even shared a drink with us. The seafood trio was extremely tasty in the privacy of our own home. Day 5- Made the trip to Sugar Beach. Much different from Anse Mamin. Busier, white sand bit more ritzy. People were great and we had no problems at all. The snorkeling was fantastic. Beautiful views in between the Pitons. Cleared up from the beach and headed to Jade Mountain for dinner. This was by far our very best experience in St. Lucia. Pricey but well worth it! Alton dropped us at the bottom gate, we took a shuttle to the top (great dinner) were greeted by first name by 3 people at the top. We were the only ones there to start. Bartender took pictures of us and gave us free appetizers . After cocktails we got seated at table under the stars and tried both the regular lobster tasting menus. Junior one server was incredible. We would come back to St. Lucia for this meal alone. Day 6- back to Anse Mamin for a Maxing last day with beach burgers. Came home to spend some last time and have some drinks and pool time. Day 7- Pack-up and left Important tips
Thank you for everything Janus!! Love Yury & Vincent Thank you St. Lucia Dec. 2- Dec. 7 2019 Came here to celebrate our 10th year anniversary and could not be any happier that I chose this place. Janus was awesome on assisting in anything we needed ”Super Host” for real. Things to do Soufriere Tour- Volcano mud baths , Diamon Falls or Garden , Tet Paul Nature Trail Anse Mamin Beach – Took professional pictures there “Soul O’ Bliss” the name of the company Chef- Must do was awesome Fedos – local place to eat and around the corner, very reasonable prices Hummingbird – nice for dinner, Wednesday nights band, pricey but food is good Ti Tak – nice souvenirs place and awesome ice coffee, the best Petit Peak- took a 20 minute walk to explore the island, infront of the beach, good food. There is so much to do and write. The Villa, a beautiful home Love Yury & Vincent Michael & Shawn 10.21- 10.31
10years anniversary Day 1 – relaxed and walked into town. We went to Hummingbird & the creole fish was amazing Day 2- pool day Day 3- we went with Jamal to Pitit Nature Trail. Mud Baths and Torille waterfall. The waterfall – total waste of time – ask to go to a different one. We weren’t of food. I think Jamal had an off day as he was okay but no Botanical Gardens and we forgot until later. We ate at Belle View and it was ok. Day 4- Pool day with a trip to the store. We made breakfast daily. The bakery next to the Police station, be cautious, they tried to ask for $5usd for bread- just a basic loaf! Theres another Bakery across the street neat the church. Day 5- If you’re here on a firday, you must have alton take you to Jump up. Alton was the best driver- friendly, talkative, know the local spots, he helped make the day! We made the day of it and went to Rodney Bay, Marigot Bay, Pigeon Island an finally jump up. Must buy alcohol duty free way cheaper than the local grocery store. Have Alton take you to the fish place. You will smell lots of food but this was one of the best fish, rice, bread for less than $8usd. Day 6- pool day Day 7 – Alton picked us up to Anse Chastanet. Janus has snorkeling gear. Be careful the yellow set has a mask that leaks. W e paid to use the hotel chairs and it was worth it. Cozy chairs and shade. Snorkel is free if you have the stuff. We went to the left by the ladder and it was better than hannama bay oahu. Lunch at the beach restaurant was good. We had the club with a whole lotta fruits to share. Day 8- pool day with day 9 and 10 being rainy days Tips: Pier 28 amazing food- jerk chicken, sandwiches with spicy wings Zaka- amazing smoothies and iced coffee. Its an art café so you can get something to take home. Our driver Alton recommended and it didn’t disappoint. If you want to eat at Jade Mountain reserve way ahead for dinner. Because I couldn’t make my mind up we didn’t eat there. Dasheene- great views, service & food. Janus is always available. The stove ran out of gas and he was right here. He came along with bread every now and then. If there is something on the island you want to do just ask. He will make it happen. Deet! The love ankles and feet so clothe up and spray because they get you through clothes. If it’s a nice day and you want to hike the Pitons do it. We waited till the end and couldn’t because of rain.. Always check clothes for bugs and insects. Jump up Must do!! Ask for Alton to drive you! Pigeon Island hike is amazing. Comments are closed.
