"We very much enjoyed our vacation in beautiful Soufriere here in St. Lucia and Sapphire Apartments"11/13/2016
We are excited to be the first entry in the book! After our arrival and guidance by Janus to our apartment we had a fantastic dinner overlooking the ocean at Petit Peak and on the walk, back we stopped in and watched a local soccer game which the whole town was at. It was a great first evening!
The following morning, we stopped at the bank and local grocery store before driving our rental jeep to Anse Chastanet for Scuba Diving at Scuba St. Lucia. It’s a gorgeous beach to gaze on and swim at with a very nice beach bar/restaurant. The next day Jamal (from Janus’s team) dropped off freshly baked bread and took us on a tour of the island which was awesome – we had a coastline tour learning about the banana plantation, eating local cassava bread, then touring the volcano, Sulphur springs and waterfall. It was an excellent day! We had lunch at Fedos, dinner at Ruby’s, the Petit piton during our stay, and went to Hotel Chocolat restaurant for cocoa tastings. We spent a lot of time at the Anse Chastanet Beach, and attended our neighbors Saturday night party, and the Friday Anse La Raye Fish Street party. We very much enjoyed our vacation in beautiful Soufriere here in St. Lucia and Sapphire Apartments and hope to do this again very soon. The culture and people here is one of a kind. Love Chelsey and Mark!! Mark’s Tips
