Enjoyed our stay in St. Lucia. Very Beautiful view from this condo.

12/21/2017

Enjoyed our stay in St. Lucia. Very Beautiful view from this condo. Janus arranged for drivers on several occasions and they were the best. We visited the Volcano and Mineral springs and Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens. We also took a tour to Tet Paul Scenic Trail.

The Views were magnificent, and our guide was great. Today we check out, but have plans to visit Sugar Beach before we fly home.

Elaine & Rich- Florida Michigan

We spent our entire week long trip here and enjoyed every minute of it…but I mean it would be pretty hard not to!!

12/7/2017

  • Day 1: Arrived around 3pm with our rental car from the airport. We figured if we are staying for a week it would definitely be the best choice.

P.S – you can make it anywhere in a 2wd car

Anyways our first and main point was to get to the beach and watch the sun set! So we drove to Sugar Beach and the view was stunning!!! We ended up having dinner there but it was super-over priced and the food was OK!

  • Day 2: Woke up and did the Tet Paul Nature Trail ($10USD PP) Views of the Pitons were Gorgeous. After that we trekked over to the Sulphur Springs. Make it there before the crowd and enjoyed the smelly relaxing baths and immediately looked and felt 10 years younger (no joke) Anyways afterwards we went to Martha’s Tables (very good $30 USD PP) then back down to Sugar Beach. Find blate and get Pina Colada…delicious (oh yeah… the right side of the beach is public and there were enough chairs) We snorkeled…the preserve there and it was beautiful. We rented snorkel gears from the shop behind the public beach ($10USDPP) Then we came home and walked to the shop by the soccer field which was small so we could only agree on eating chicken hot dogs and veggie (yum)

  • Day 3: We walked up & decided to see all the waterfalls nearby. So we saw the Piton Falls ($3 USD PP-small but warm and able to bathe) Torille Falls ($3 USDPP- Large, cooler but able to bathe) & Diamond Falls/Garden (Beautiful, unable to go in $10USD PP) We then had lunch at Fedos (cheap, local however gave me stomach problems) After that we headed to Anse Chatasnet (the ride wasn’t all that fun but totally doable in 2wd car) We snorkeled there as well ($10USDPP) The snorkel was much better especially right side of beach near rocks, seemed much more alive. We grabbed a drink there and watched the sun set. Headed to Pitit Peak ($40USDPP, food was great, view was beautiful)

  • Day 4: Got an early start to hike to Gros Piton ($35USDPP) The hike was tough but the views were worth it! I honestly don’t think I have ever sweated that much before in my entire life. After that we went straight back to Sugar Beach. For dinner we then tried Ruby’s on the corner. Delicious food, good prices, highly recommend ($40USDPP)

  • Day5: Today we ventured up north to Visit Anse Chochon  at Ti-Kaye. There is a $10USD deposit per person but can be reimbursted for lunch/drinks. Very beautiful beach. We sat on our Towels because we get kicked out off the chairs and didn’t feel like paying the fee. Then for dinner we went to Boucan/ It was delicious, we got there before sunset, then got drinks and had dinner @ 6pm.

  • Day 6: Started the day at Anse Chatasnet then walked up north to Anse Mamin. (more private, very pretty) Then we ventured up north for a sun set beach tour out of Rodney Bay. Unfortunately once we got there we found out the tour was cancelled. ☹  So we watched the Sunset at Pigeon Island Beach. Had great news at Rodney Bay. Word of Advice, do not waste your time further north of Anse Chochon, there is so much traffic and built up shops it kinds ruins that peaceful St. Lucia Vibe. We headed back and got dinner at  Soufriere.

  • Day 7: Woke up and went to Sugar Beach one last time

    WEATHER IN SAINT LUCIA
While most places in the world have four well-defined seasons, its proximity to the equator means that this is not really the case for the island of St. Lucia.
