ASHMEER Thank you Janus, Jermal, Chef Ramsey & all of the helpful beautiful people of St. Lucia. Sept. 24- Hey, This is Sean, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that I am such a home body, we have constantly been flooded & amazed at everything. We called Janus and he basically guided us by car & food on a tour of Soufriere (not sure how to spell it) When we walked into the building, the view literally took our breath away. We had planned to climb the Gros Piton the first day but after getting into the pool, we melted into Saba and couldn’t help but relax. Janus called for us (Jermal) who too us to Pitit Peak (a restaurant in Soufriere Bay) and to get Ice Cream. We came back and Chef Ramsey arrived. He booked an amazing dish and served us right at the table. He bought all fresh ingredients and made everything from Scratch. A genuinely good cook and nice guy. After dinner we just watched the sun set over Pitit Piton and the Beautiful Caribbean Sea. Sept. 25- We drove to Marigot Bay for an all-day Catamaran Cruise which took us Zipling in Morne Coubaril Estate, Sulphur Spring & Diamond Falls. We also went snorkeling on the way. I drove and let me tell you ‘’ Listen to Janus’’. He will organize a driver to take you wherever you want to go. Coming back in town, Jermal organized a private sunset boat tour at the coast. We saw the bat caves, sugar beach & Anse Chastanet Beach. We saw the sunset and the most stars that I have ever seen in my life. We got Ice-cream again, went to the grocery store and I cooked my girlfriend dinner. We drunk rum & listened to music all night. Sept. 26- We finally slept in. We took time & ate breakfast. We then embarked on a hike to the Gro Piton. It was super fun & super freaking tiring. The views we saw from the mountains were absolutely amazing. We then drove down to Sugar Beach & Kayaked between the Pitons. It felt like I was living in a postcard. Please snorkel at Sugar Beach, beautiful fish, beautiful Coral. We had dinner at Jade Mountain under the stars. We got engaged there under the stars 9/26/2019 – I LOVE YOU ASHMEER We then embarked on a hike to the Gro Piton. It was super fun & super freaking tiring. Sept 27 – im sitting poolside writing to you. Good Luck Friend Disclaimer – I am a doctor, forgive my hand writing. ASHMEER Bea & Kira We have too many good things to say about our stay at Saba Villa! The professionalism and organization from the moment we were picked up from the airport, to the moment we left, was exceptional. And every person we have met during our stay has been friendly and welcoming. Our first full day was jam packed with activities led by @realstluciatours. This included a visit to Tet paul Nature Trail, The Sulphur Springs and Toraille Waterfall! We also had the pleasure of meeting the happiest chef in the world who cooked us the most amazing fish platter. We also wanted to hike Petit Piton after hearing so many things about it, and so the amazing Janus organized an early morning hike (That nearly killed us) but the views were phenomenal! It is hard to put into words how special this villa is and how amazing our stay was, but we would like to especially thank Janus for being THE most incredible host. We hopt to return very soon. Thank you ! Bea & Kira We were able to enjoy a number of local activities while staying at Saba. Our driver, tour guide and partner for the week was Jamal.
We took the Soufriere tour and were in awe of the views of the island from Tet Paul Trail and the basic beauty of the botanical gardens. We drank fresh coconut water and crushed some cocoa beans. The Sulphur springs were so relaxing, followed by a refreshing waterfall. Jamal showed us how to paint our faces with the black mud and guided us through the different baths. On the way back we had lunch at Fedos. Jamal was indispensable. Four people for 9 days was a lot of trips to the grocery store. Jamal arranged sunset cruise on a motor boat that gave us a different view of the island, we enjoyed it a great deal. Jamal and his team arranged a private BBQ that was our best meal on the island. Fish and pork on the grill with authentic side dishes. The best beach to visit in the area is Anse mamin. It is definitely worth the trip. The walk is 12 mins from the drop off point at the Anse Chastanet Parking lot. The beach is secluded and never packed with people. There is a delightful bar that serves lunch and cocktails. The villa is ideal - plenty of chairs - a nice change from the all inclusive resorts! Located in a secluded area allowed us to experience the true St. Lucia experience! Enjoy your stay Jackie & Laury Comments are closed.
