Hello!
We began our trip at Sapphire 3 property (the blue coloured one you can see out the kitchen window) We soon decided that we needed a pool and Janus moved us to the Beautiful Saba Villa. What a beautiful place!! Day 1 Tet Paul Nature Trail- Must do!! About a 20 minutes hike to the top. $10USD per person including a guide- Take your time and enjoy the views along the way. After the guided tour we went back to the top on our own and had a Piton Beer to take in the gorgeous view. There is also a small restaurant by the parking lot. We then had one on Janus Drivers take us to the Sulphur Springs and mud baths. Really cool!! Jamal Picked us up and brought us back to the villa. He picked us up an hour later and dropped us off at Valelse for dinner. We had Mahi Mahi- okay and red snapper- good flavor but mind the bones. Day 2 Hang out at the villa relaxing in the morning, then Jamal took us to Diamond Falls & Botanical Gardens- they were beautiful but not everything blooming this time of year. Best to go early in the day- it was really hot when we went. Enjoyed the pool until dinner time when we scheduled Chef Ramsey to make a private dinner for us! He rocked the creole shrimp! So delicious we tried to have him come again the next night but he was already booked. Day 3 Called Janus (by the way anything you want to do, he can make it happen ) to arrange a driver to take us up to Castries and Hike Pigeon Island. The roads are very winding traveling up and back. Ian was a great guide- $140USD for the tour for the 2 of us . Chillaxed when we got back, then called janus. We wanted Fedo’s but they were closed (on the island, Sunday is church and family day, so many places are closed) We asked for curry chicken and an appetizer and it magically showed up at our door less than an hour later. Turns out Sunday was a good day to go up to Castries. It’s much more commercial up there and there are lots of traffic during the week. We really enjoyed our visit here! Such an unbelievable day. It’s hard to leave Thank you Janus & Team. We’ll be back Carol & John Minneapolis, MN Dear Janus & Guest Aug. 23rd, 2019
This is the best place to stay at on the whole island. You are around all the best attractions and get to see a beautiful view every morning. 1. Dasheene restaurant & Bay located at Ladera resort, has the most amazing view. Must go & food is awesome. 2. Diamond falls & Botanical Gardens 3. Sugar Beach- so beautiful, relaxing and clear water. Must get ride down from front entrance and back up because it is a long walk. 4. Sulphur Springs 5. Eat at Fedos- cheap and authentic 6. anse-chastanet-st-lucia.htmlAnse Chastanet beach bar- you can see a beautiful sunset but food is not good and way more priced 7. Marigot Bay- its about 1 hour away but lots of activities and wonderful restaurants. Go at Chateau Mygo restaurant and get the deep fried shrimp. XOXO Jeff Atlanta, GA Dear Janus & Team
We had the best time in lovely St. Lucia. Thanks to you. The villa is just marvelous, it’s more than we hoped for, with it’s gorgeous view of Soufriere and the Pitons. It was the very best place to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We had a blast during the Soufriere tour, enjoying the Tet Paul Trail and mud baths. Jamal took the best pics. Let’s not forget about scrumptious finger licking food Chef Ramsey cooked for us. Its probably part of our top 3 culinary experiences ever!! Thanks for the warm welcome, the great accommodation and the peace and quiet we’ve been able to enjoy here Pamela & Sebastien Paris, France (land from the neighboring island, Guadeloupe. If you are reading this you will see how great a host Janus is. His whole team does an outstanding job and Janus has his finger on the pulse of everything that goes on. Janus, thank you so much for an outstanding vacation. All of your people were a pleasure to deal with. Jamal was like a concierge arranging everything we could think of and let me tell you he will enjoy a break because of how many times we texted him with questions. He’s too nice of a guy to say if but I’m sure we drove him crazy. The snorkeling was amazing everywhere. Feel good water taxi and tours took us. There were plenty of fish and interesting rock formations (not like other islands, where to pay to go to see fish but more are to be found, Bahama’s, you hear that) Amazing tour and Captain Daniel and first mate Levi, were very accommodating. When we told Captain Daniel we already snorkeled sugar beach he said ‘’No Problem’’ and moved the speed boat to a near location. The day with Jamal was fantastic. He does a fantastic job and knows how to take the best souvenir pictures. He knows where to get the best deals of soaps, rum and food. Our first night, Jamal took us to Valelse, a place that had just opened four months ago. We had the best meal and service. The waitress was really sweet and enjoyed the curry chicken, oxtail and pork loin very much that 2 days later we overdues 5 orders of curry chicken to take back to the villa. All of Jamal’s food recommendations were great. The ones we liked the most were: Sugar Beach- Tapas were great Boucan- for dinner Ladera- for drinks De Belle Vue- for lunch Valelse As mentioned before and last but not least a traditional home cooked finner with Chef Ramsey- He was great!! All in all we loved Villa. The view is to die for. Many friends were asking where we were. Family in Europe were amazed at the beauty. Everything is clean ad we had everything we needed. Sometimes even some special delivery to surprise us at the door. We look forward to many more vacations here. We get to relax and kick back and enjoy ‘’The Island Time’’ Thank you Janus The brugger Family, longsland, NY Lionel & Lynda Jarred & Thalia Dear Janus
This place is amazing!!! This view is by far the best I have ever seen. We cannot stop staring outside. The pool, the landscape, the floor, overall design is spectacular. We finished off our trip by staying here fore a few days and we were so glad we did. Day 1- sat by the pool and enjoyed the view This place is every bit as beautiful as the photos online. We booked our stay while Saba was still under construction and crossed our fingers that it would come out half as nice as the drawings, it far exceeded that!! Hope everyone enjoyed their stay as much as we did (but maybe for more than a few days) Brittany & DJ Stanford, CT |
WEATHER IN SAINT LUCIA
While most places in the world have four well-defined seasons, its proximity to the equator means that this is not really the case for the island of St. Lucia. Archives
