![]() Janus, my man, you’ve outdone yourself with this beautiful villa. You were right Soufriere is St. Lucia! We had a terrific time exploring the island and eating all of it’s delicious food!! Anse Chastanet beach had great snorkeling right off the beach. The Tet Paul Trail, wow what beautiful views with our guide Mario. We got down and dirty in the Sulphur Springs. Although made the mistake of washing our clothes with the Sulphur soaked swim trunks, stinky lol. Martha’s tables buffet was so good and the diamond botanical gardens was gorgeous. Must do dinner with private chef Ramsey! We even moved the table outside next to the pool to soak in those millions of stars. Honestly I wish we never had to leave. We’ll miss all the friendly locals and amazing views. Thanks for the mangoes and the best 1st anniversary anyone could ask for. Until next time. 1LOVE Chad & Michelle (charlotte, NC, USA) Theresa’s Eleibox
The view here is amazing, nothing like twin peaks standing directly in front of you to make you appreciate nature’s ability to leave an impression. Everything here from the décor, setting, architecture etc. is beyond well put together. I enjoyed this little time here. Beautiful little treasure! Digital- theresax Social media – follow me @theresssaaaa 😊 (marketer) We came , we saw. All hail king bran, the broken Photographer = follow my Instagram - @kyrvt.visuals ![]() We arrived at Saba- an amazing villa Saturday late afternoon after our driver stopped at a market so we could get some staples, rum and pitons! Day 2- Sunday, we hang out at the villa taking in the beautiful view of this amazing island. Day 3- we met Jamal who took us to the rum distillery for a tour. We never knew so much work went into making rum. All along the way Jamal told us about each village, banana trees etc. Jamal ran out to get creole chicken for us for lunch which we enjoyed at the villa. We had dinner at Pitit Peak. Day 4- Jamal took us to Sulphur springs at the base of the volcano. We floated in the pool, covered ourselves with white sulphur then Jamal decorated us up. Then we went to The Botanical gardens which was absolutely beautiful. Day 5- Jamal took us to Anse Chastanet beach and from there we walked down to Anse Mamin and swam for a while then back into down and got Pizza for lunch Day 6- we spent the day at the villa relaxing Day 7- Jamal set up a boat tour with Feel good tours. Captain crème and first mate Al were wonderful. They took us Sugar Beach then head to Marigot Bay. At marigot bay we walked around one side, then they picked us up and took us to the other side where we went swimming. During the boat ride, al was explaining the history of the villages along the way. On the trip back to Soufriere we stopped to snorkel and b am I glad we did, we also saw all the bats in the bat cave. We got pizza again from a place right near the marina again cause it was so good. We highly recommend taking a boat tour with feel good tours and seeing the view of St. Lucia from the water. Now we are swimming at the villa enjoying all the beauty this amazing island and the town of Soufriere has to offer. Day 8 – Sadly we have to head home after this wonderful week and we both wished we had booked this amazing villa for a few more days. So, it is home to our lovable dog Beisteo and visits with our grand kids! Much love Steve & Devlee ![]() Wow, how lucky we feel to be the first entry at this impressive villa! We arrived 3 days ago and have been blown away by St. Lucia. Not only is the Island beautiful but so are the people. Everyone is very friendly, warm and kind. Janus has been an incredible host. He introduced us to Jamal. Who has been our private tour guide for all of Soufriere. He picked us up at the airport after a long trip from the US, cold beers and an easy drive to the villa recharges our batteries. Later that night Jamal recommended Pitit Peak restaurant for dinner. We loved the beggers purse (red snapper! Yum!) and sipped drinks looking out on the ocean. Day 2- Jamal took us to the Tet Paul Nature Trail, where we learned about the culture, flowers and fruits, wildlife. We then hopped in the car and traveled to the Sulphur Springs and did the mud baths and mineral springs bath. Be warned, it is smelly but you get used to it. Wear clothes you don’t plan on using the rest of the trip. The sulphur is good for you but takes three washed to get the smell out. Jamal stuck with us the whole time took us for a refreshing dip at torille waterfall. It’s the perfect half day trip. We hit up fedos for lunch the creole and curry dishes have us craving it for the rest of the week. Jamal brought us back to the villa where we swam, sipped drinks and relaxed. Janus hooked us up with a private chef. Chef Ramsey, was excellent. He was pleasant, fun and chatted with us while he prepared our meal. King fish, shrimp, vegetables he grew in his own garden! Couscous, mashed potatoes all topped with an additional garlic butter sauce. It was delicious!!!! Day 3- we did zip-lining and walked to Sugar Beach. It is a very steep walk. I recommend trying to snag a ride down the street. It was very scenic and beautiful. Jamal recommended yet another great lunch place. Belview! We had an amazing dinner at Orlandos it was romantic and elegant Day 4- We went ATV driving through the rain forest. This is a must do!! The lush greenery makes you feel small in this world but in awe! Jamal again recommended Stone-yard for lunch. We recommend the greenfish salad and stew chicken. Jamal dropped us off and promptly picked us back up for a seaside view dinner @ the hummingbird restaurant. We had yet another fantastic meal!! Day 5 – We are taking a dip in the pool and packing up. And we don’t want to leave!!! This was the perfect start to our honeymoon. Romantic and amazing views. We are so grateful that we got to do this. We will be sure to tell all our friends and family about Janus’s Villas!!! With love, see you later !! XO Bridget & Ron |
WEATHER IN SAINT LUCIA
While most places in the world have four well-defined seasons, its proximity to the equator means that this is not really the case for the island of St. Lucia. Archives
