Sapphire 3: Reviews From Those Who’ve Lived, Shopped, Explored & Dined in St. Lucia

Our second stay at Sapphire for 2018. Unfortunately for only two nights, as it was booked up.  Loved the place the first time and nothing has changed.

We’ve been to and eaten at most of the places mentioned throughout this book, but I don’t think anyone has mentioned the food truck beside the bridge on the main road. It’s on the south side of the bridge, opposite Whispers sports bar. Large portions of great local food for a great price. 2 can have lunch for $20 EC. (They’re closed Sun & Mon).

​Also, we stayed at the Hummingbird Resort for a few nights. It was decent but make sure to bargain on the price. $150- $175 US per night is ok (They’ll try for more). If you go there just for a meal, the food is good just a little too pricey.

Hours before leaving we finally got to meet Janus. He has always been helpful and seems very nice in person. A few more days in this beautiful county and then back home! Enjoy!

Thanks to Janus for giving us some information on the Island. We spent one week to discover all the best of St. Lucia. The location of the apartment is perfect between the south and the north which is too crowdy. The renting of the car is a must if you want to go anywhere by yourself.
Let’s go back to the snow Quebec/ Canada.
