As soon as we landed on the Island we were contacted by Janus. We sent a message asking how our flight was, if we needed anything from the supermarket, and gave us directions to the property. The drive to Soufriere is so beautiful. It takes about 30-45 minutes. We rented a car (a must on the Island) to get to all the landmarks, stops, supermarkets, and adventures. There is a driving permit that they charge you in addition to the rental its about 25$. 

As we drove into town Janus and Elma greeted us! Their hospitality was at a level we had not experienced before. They showed us to our private home, and all the essentials we would need around the house. They stocked up on the grocery list we gave them, at no extra charge. Janus filled us in on all that Soufriere has to offer: wonderful beaches, Diamond waterfalls, botanical gardens, sulphur springs, and much much more. The amazing thing is that all of these are about a 3-10 minute drive from the property. The house is on a high hill, but we did just fine with a tiny compact kia.
