Bocean Villa Escape Review - Jennifer & Mark

My wife and I were interested in coming to St. Lucia for a two week vacation and as usual we started our search on Google for villa rentals in St. Lucia. The main aim of this vacation was to be in a home away from home with all the amenities we needed. We wanted an ocean view as well as being anyway from the busy concrete jungle that we were accustomed to.  Following or detailed search, we requested quotes and further information from a number of villas we found online. We received the quickest response from islander villas escapes.

After the initial communication with islander villas we never turned back from there. They were extremely helpful in so many ways and their package included all of the essential stuff we needed for a relaxing stress free vacation. Firstly, they offered airport transfer to the villa at no additional cost. They also offer a welcome grocery package that saved us the initial trip to the supermarket that comes with booking a villa. They also offered an on call chauffeur service as well as offering to make a car rental booking on our behalf at a discounted price with a sister car Rental Company, Islander Cars St. Lucia.

Upon arrival we were chauffeured from the airport to Bocean villa by the most graceful and knowledgeable driver, “Sam.” Pictures really don’t do justice to Bocean villa.  This villa is nothing short of spectacular. As stated online, this villa is beautiful both inside and out. At Bocean, there are breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the mountain side.  Not to mention that the sunsets are to die for.  On the days which were not hazy, we were able to see Martinique, which is the Island 21 miles north of St. Lucia

Once we got to the villa we were greeted by villa manager Marcus, who gave us a full tour of the villa. This company seems to attract the best employees. By the time he was done with us we felt like we were part of the Islander villa escape family.  Just as was stated online we had this beautiful welcome grocery package which catered to most of our needs.  Marcus helped us to settle in quite nicely and our vacation began.

Living at Bocean villa is so very addictive that we really didn’t want to leave when it was time to. There is a constant cool Caribbean breeze that can be enjoyed even on very hot days while taking in this awesome view of the Caribbean Sea.

 Bocean villa is a 20 minute drive away from Soufriere which is the high point for most west coast tours of St. Lucia.  In Soufriere we visited the Drive in Volcano (Sulphur Springs) and we did the mud bath there.  We also visited the Diamond falls and botanical gardens and we did the mineral baths there. We took photos with the pitons in the background and enjoyed the post card views of Soufriere. We also visited the beautiful Anse Chastanet Beach in Soufriere. Even closer to the villa though is Anse Cochon beach which is 15 drive minutes away. This is one of the loveliest snorkeling beaches in St. Lucia, which has crystal clear water, beautiful coral reef and colorful fishes.

The villa is located 3 minutes drive away from the village of Canaries. In canaries we were able to purchase some of the best bread we have ever tasted.  It’s like we couldn’t have found a villa in a better location.  Therefore, we highly recommend booking Bocean Villa for your dream vacation in St. Lucia, for the villa in and of itself and all of the beautiful nearby attractions.
