Canaries is really a small village very nice, especially the small bakery near the bridge…what a delight!!! And these accommodations like small corner stores. We had a crush on the beach in Vieux Fort, Anse des Saldes for these waves, white sand and simplicity. The scenery is to cut the breath.

It is important to know that tourists have access to the beaches in Ressort Complex for free! You will simply mention that you came for a swim at the beach. Guests have access to the beach, bar and restaurant.

Our kids especially enjoyed the hospitality of the dog (they affectionately named “Coconut” and his two little puppies, like white “Chamalow” and the little brown “Brownies”) Also have a vehicle to get around is the best way to have freedom to explore the island.
