Sulphur Springs
Sulphur Springs is easily one of the most renowned sites in St. Lucia, and with good reason- it is the world’s only drive-in volcano! Take a dip in the hot mud baths and let relaxation and peace overcome you. Onsite showers make it easy to clean up after, and the pools are renowned for their healing properties. Real St. Lucia Tours offers a volcano tour that will really help you get the most out of this destination, but if you go alone you will find that entrance ranges between $10 and $12 USD, with bath access costing extra. You’ll certainly want to tell all your friends and family that you took a bath in real volcanic mud!

The Piton Mountains
No trip to St. Lucia is complete without visiting the island’s twin peaks, the Piton Mountains. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Pitons are one of the most easily recognizable features of the island.
These volcanic mountains are located just outside of Soufriere, and Gros Piton is a very popular hiking destination.
While the hike is strenuous, the view from the top is absolutely unforgettable. The smaller peak, Petit Piton is only recommended for expert hikers.
Of course, if hiking isn’t your speed, you can also rent a boat in order to capture a different view of the mountains. Whatever you choose, the Pitons are not to be missed!

If a quiet, more secluded beach sounds like paradise to you, Anse Mamin is a great choice. It is situated approximately a five minute walk from the beach of Anse Chastanet along a small gravel road, and visitors love the lack of crowds as well as the beauty of the beach. Of course, Anse Mamin is more than just a beach. This incredible old French Colonial plantation offers a picturesque garden, trails for jogging, and an estate that you can actually tour. Gros Piton! As written on other pages, it is grueling. We imagined it would be tough and it exceeded our expectations. We’re both in good shape but this was a new type of workout.
