Day 1: Ramiah Picked us up from the airport and we stopped for groceries on our way to the villa.
Janus met us there to give us a tour and got us a reservation at Ladera for dinner. We went to Ladera at 6:30pm and caught the end of the amazing sunset from the best seat in the house.
Food is pricey but delicious. We recommend going on a clear night to see the view of the Pitons and the sunset.

Day 2: it was a rainy day so we caught up on some much needed sleep and move between the porch and the living room most of the day.
Jermal made us a reservation at Mango tree for dinner on Thursday there is a buffet and a D. pretty good food with good views but slow service.

Day 3: We did the Soufriere orientation tour with shane which was amazing.
We went to the drive-in volcano , the mud baths, torille waterfall and the botanical gardens. We loved everything especially the waterfall and gardens.
Shane took us to fedos for lunch and we had delicious roti’s and fresh mango/passionfruit juice. Servings are large and inexpensive. Highly recommend. We came back to the villa and relaxed by the pool until chef ramsey came for dinner.
We had the grilled seafood with garlic butter sauce and it was amazing. We even had plenty of left overs;

Day 4: We went to Malgretoute beach where we paid $15pp to rent a beach chair and could order food and drinks all day from a waitor, well worth it!
Good views and incredibly warm water. We snorkeled aswell and then went to treetop for dinner, a treacherous drive but worth it for the amazing views and food. The owner does a set menu each night so you get 3 small appretizers, multiple entrees and dessert. $60pp, it was delicious- an idian/Caribbean fusion. Best meal so far. Day 5: We left early to hike Gros Piton. Unfortunately it poured rain for the majority of the hike so there were no view because of the fog at the top.
It took us 3.5 hours round-trip. And we had to take extra care on our way down because of how wet it was. We went back to the villa and relaxed by the pool the rest of the day and enjoyed our left overs from Fedos and chef ramsey for lunch and dinner. Day 6: We went to Hotel chocolat for the morning chocolate tour. We saw the greenhouse, gratfed our won cocoa tree, waslked around on the grounds and made our own chocolate on the tour followed by lunch, It was fun and informative but probably our least favorite activity of the trip so far.
We then drove 40 minutes to do an ATV tour that Jermal arranged for us. Definitely a highlight for us! We rode through rugged trails, two black sand beaches and a river. Our guide even gave us some cold Piton Beer at the end. Probably our favorite part of the trip so far. We headed back to the villa and made dinner there. |
Day 7: We went back to Malgretoute beach to enjoy the sun and snorkeling again.
We got drinks from Blaze who has a boat with a blender and fresh fruit. We wanted to go back to treetop for dinner but unfortunately they were closed so we went back to Ladera instead.

Day 8: We packed up our stuff to get ready to go to the Royalton up north for a few days. The doctor came to do COVID test for us and Janus arranged for a driver to take us to our new hotel.
We has an amazing time at Serrana. Janus and his team catered to our every need and request. Our highlights were the ATV tour, the Soufriere tour, Malgretoute beach and treetop. We hope to be back soon some day!
Thank you

After a very long day of travel, shane picked us up from the airport. Took us to the supermarket to make sure we had everything and stopped at The Dream for dinner to go. Let me tell you! Some great food and lots of it! After we went back to the villa and relaxed. Day 2: June 19th
Beach day, we had a late start and headed to the beach and spent most of the day enjoying the water and drinks. We had a fun time snorkeling $ 15pp. Then went back for Chef Ramsey which I cant even describe how great he is. Day 3:June 20th
Gros Piton Hike, was raining but our amazing guide of steel pushed us to the finish. It was pretty hard but worth it then we went to the beach to get some drinks and recover. Levi our server was on top of it all! |
Day 4: June 21st
ATV tour. We originally didn’t plan to do this but shane mentioned it and OMG we were so glad we did it. The views were like no other. We had fun and max was great and stopped to get us Mangos for dinner.

Sufriere tour with Shane. Shane was amazing throughout our trip but was extra amazing on this tour.
We went and did Tet Paul Nature Trail, sulphur baths and volcano and basically we had our photographer. Hotel chocolate for dinner, amazing views and food.

Northern tour and chef ramsey, Shane took us to the northern part of the island. Not a whole lot to see but still wanted to experience. Chef Ramsey was amazing again.

Hotel Chocolat tour was great. Cool to see the process to make chocolate. Then Dasheene at Ladera for dinner, better views than food but still incredible.

Day 8: June 25th
Sunset cruise with feel good tours. Shane set this up for us and it did not disappoint. We went on the boat with Arean and Jean, they took us to Marigot Bay, then back down to a private beach for dinner and I cant describe how beautiful it was, it was a bit more expensive but definitely worth the trip.

Day 9: June 26th Horse back riding/treetop! It was a farther drive but after 2 hours of horse back riding it was awesome to see a different side of the island and to see the authentic. Our guide max was great and the horses were super easy to ride. Treetop restaurant is an Indian style type food. 1 set of menu and you get it all. Very quick to the food but all worth it to go. Day 10: June 27th
Beach day, Covid Test, we decided to relax at the beach which was worth it again. They werw amazing to us. Our doctor came to the villa @ 6 for the covid test which was nice then we had chef Ramsey as our final dinner Day 11: June 28th
We are heading home ☹ Our Favorite restaurants

By far our best part is how much we felt at home, specifically shane. He made us feel at home and always there for us. We felt like we were the only ones on the island and honestly, we hope to keep our friendship with shane even after our trip ends.
This was by far past our expectations and Janus has created the best environment to enjoy. Can’t wait to visit again.
P.S- Book Chef Ramsey, he is an amazing guy 10/10, can cook like no other. Plus he has stories to tell. Just ask about his goats.
