We spent 2 days at the Villa, and still have 3 more days to go in St. Lucia – So we didn’t have a full ‘’profile’’ of experiences to more, a few nightlights so far though.
As others have said Sugar Beach is absolutely Beautiful. We will likely spend more and more time at that beach over the few days. One bit of advice if you plan on staying there for an extended period of time, bring food. Their restaurants are delicious but expensive (like dinner expensive) Get there early to take advantage of Lounge Chairs (free ones)
Dasheen Restaurant at Ladera – breathtaking views from your dinner, except pay for it and get there with ample time before Sunset, but if you want to have a nice, luxurious expensive dinner this is the place (mahi was tough and dry, everything else was awesome – including fillet mignon)
Snorkeling and turtle rock at Anse Chastanet, Sugar Beach were all great, try to find a deal
Walk around, walk to Pier 28 (on the water down by Hummingbird) is about 25 minutes. Good is good but expensive, good people everywhere.
The villa is relaxing and secluded but don’t get yourself stuck up here, get out and explore.
Obviously, we have to plug Janus and his Team. We got to know a few of the drivers and everyone is responsive, welcoming, warm and giving. Janus has done something really impressive by selling together a business (of series of Businesses) that not only caters to tourists but gives younger folks on Island opportunities.
We spent some time with Fabian and his family members 2 Whispers bar/lunge and learned a ton about St. Lucia and the pros & cons of the island life.
We are so grateful to have settled up on this Villa as it opened up a whole world to us that otherwise would not have been available.
Not to Mention, Janus was accommodating from the beginning, who knows, what kind of adventures we’ll stumble onto, the next three days, but we plan on doing many of the excursions mentioned by other travelers. Again and not to sound like a broken record, do not be intimidated by anything, St. Lucia has a rich cultural fabric and Soufriere in particular is safe and very laid back. Be polite and respectful and you will get equal treatment in return… you know Golden Rule, remember it does exist!
Thank you Janus
