On our first night we had a chef come in and cook our dinner. I think it was the best meal we have had -This have been one of the best holidays we have ever had!Wish we could stay ages.
Beautiful Villa. We especially enjoyed sitting by the infinity pool looking over the town and the ocean. Absolutely stunning.
On our first night we had a chef come in and cook our dinner. I think it was the best meal we have had, and all of the food has been excellent.
Janus and all his drivers are incredibly helpful and kind and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Without them our holidays would have been very different.
Would highly recommend to anyone. This have been one of the best holidays we have ever had!
Wish we could stay ages.

I HIGHLY recommend the private chef service, Ramsey is kind and his cooking is amazing. Our meal was better than most restaurants.
This Villa has been spectacular! You really cannot beat the views of the pitons, ocean and Soufriere. We spent most of our time enjoying the villa instead of touring as we spent a week in Castries/ Rodney Bay last week. I highly recommend a catamaran tour to get a view of the island and visit the volcano mud baths + waterfalls.
Janus has been incredibly welcoming and helpful. He responds to questions and issues immediately and gave us some great advice about St.Lucia. He has his hospitality team trained well, there is always someone available to help, or offer a ride.
I HIGHLY recommend the private chef service, Ramsey is kind and his cooking is amazing. Our meal was better than most restaurants.
Final note- we felt much safer in Soufriere than Rodney Bay / Castries. The people have been kind and helpful, not pushy.
Thanks for the Amazing stay Janus!

Our stay here was nothing short of AMAZING! The villa was spectacular with an amazing view of the town of Soufriere & the majestic pitons. Private chef dinner is a must, Chef Ramsey was great, food was superb. We had the creole chicken.
- SUNDAY, we relaxed in the villa and enjoyed the infinity pool.
- Tour with Janus Real St. Lucia Company, private island expo was fun, its customized to your needs. Nature trail, mud baths etc.
- Brunch at Dasheen was nice, get a good view of the pitons and the food was great.
- Must stop at Fedo’s for some good authentic St. Lucian food.
- Maries is also a great place for authentic Lucian food $15 buffet, can’t beat it.
- Use Janus’s transportation service to explore the island, town is about a 20 mins walk and can be difficult in the hot sun.
- Most nights were spent in the villa enjoying the pool, view + each other’s company.
- Pier 28 is a nice bar you can check out for some night life. They have a big fish bowl drink called the “HUHHH” must try good vibes.
- We had an amazing time and my boyfriend and I have already started planning our next visit.
Thanks Janus + Team
P.S Alton was the best driver great vibes 😊
The Host- What can I say? Janus is the best. Design- Love this place. Location- Well, that view. Beyond that.

We are in the midst of an 11-night stay at Sapphire Apartments (also owned by Janus). Sargas was available for one night so we decided to treat ourselves. What to say?
Design- Love this place. The use of Mahogany both inside and out, the angles, the expanses of the glass the furniture add up to a beautiful villa. Very impressed.
Location- Well, that view. Beyond that. However, staying in Soufriere is so much more enriching than staying at a resort. The people of Soufriere are lovely and walking around the town makes giving a glimpse of local life. Best way to travel for sure.
The Host- What can I say? Janus is the best. So attentive and accommodating. He has really created a paradise here. Everyone associated with him is equally the same.
STUFF TO DO –
THANKS JANUS FOR EVERYTHING!

"Sargas was our second Air BnB in Soufriere and didn’t disappoint, the location is great, the views are stunning and Janus was a pleasure!" Emily & Kyle
Sargas was our second Air BnB in Soufriere and didn’t disappoint, the location is great, the views are stunning and Janus was a pleasure! Our first night here we did the private catering with Ram-C. I highly recommend this! The food was some of the best we had and he was such good company. Not to mention how nice it was to have a meal prepared for you at “home” after a long day of excursions with the Joe’s Knows crew- also highly recommend!
Some of our favorites:
- Zaka’s café for coffee, smoothies & fun art
- Hummingbird/ Rum shack for food & drinks with a great view
- Anse Chastenet/ Jade Mountain for a great beach and yummy food options
- Ruby’s- amazing pizza & great relaxing atmosphere
- Dasheene’s- wow… food, views, drinks, sunset all incredible! O here- worth it!
- Joe Knows Land & Sea Tour- guides were fun, hilarious, full of great info & really show you a great time.
- Piton Hike- INTENSE but the views at the top are incredible!
Janus has a great spot here & is one of the nicest people. So thankful to have stayed here & we would love to visit again!

The food there is incredible, but I recommend going during the hours when the sun is out or at Sunset.
We came here because our friend got married at Jade Mountain.
Jamal was our driver all week and he was amazing (never late & always responsive). We had drinks at Anse on our first night in. the next morning, we hiked the Gros Piton. It was not easy.
Half our group turned back halfway up.
If you do this (and you should) bring lots of water, bug spray, sunscreen and a snack. We had dinner on the celestial terrace at Jade Mountain. The food there is incredible, but I recommend going during the hours when the sun is out or at Sunset. On our third day, we did the mud bath and then had a sunset cruise. Highly recommend seeing St. Lucia from the water. On thing we didn’t expect was for the hike to be US$50.00 (just fyi, so you bring a card or cash).
Think you Jamal & Janus!
We only stayed here for 2 days before going to Windjammer, but our stay was everything we could ask for!!
Craig + Jamie- Washington D.C
We had the most wonderful time at Sargas. Janus is the man and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. We only stayed here for 2 days before going to Windjammer, but our stay was everything we could ask for. We went to the Boucan Restaurant at Hotel Chocolat on the first night and even though it was a bit pricey the food was delicious.
The 2nd day we hiked the piton and it was more challenging than anticipated. It’s more of a climb than a hike. After we relaxed by the pool and had Chef Ramsey (the private chef) come and cook us one of the best meals we had in a while. You must have him cook your meals one night you are here. We certainly will be back again!!
It was the most perfect place to stay in to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and my boyfriend’s birthday on the same day!! Our stay was so perfect.
Being medical students desperate in need of a vacation, we found this place in the heart of Soufriere through Airbnb.

Couldn’t have asked for a better host 😊 Janus is such a sweetheart and immediately made us feel like family. Our stay was so perfect with all the amenities that Sargas Villa provided. Right from watching movies to taking a dip in the pool enjoying our beers.
We would love to visit this place again as it is so well kept with the utmost hospitality. Now we surely can go back to our med school life after having our minds refreshed with Sargas.
We thank you JANUS!!

We found Sargas on Airbnb and couldn’t be happier! It was beautiful inside and out with a view to die for!
We came to St. Lucia for our son’s wedding, but we wanted to stay somewhere private so that we could enjoy the inland as a couple as where!!We found Sargas on Airbnb and couldn’t be happier! It was beautiful inside and out with a view to die for!
It was amazing waking up each morning to the mountains and ocean from the master bedroom, and often coming back from a walk through the village or day the beach or a tour there was nothing more like a dip in the pool and looking at the view or the night stay. We found the best food was the special local fare whenever we ate late.
However, it would be hard to top having Chef Ramsey cook you a meal the night you arrive in the Villa. Wonderful dinner fish cakes and a seafood medley of tuna, lobster and Calamari!
We had a wonderful 7-hour tour with Feel Good Tours and Captain Daniel. What a fantastic team of guides he has put together. Snorkeling at Sugar Beach was one of our fondest memories and the Sulphur Springs very relaxing way to start the tour.
We also had a nice dinner at Humming Bird Resort on the night we wanted to go to Orlando’s but it was closed.
Janus is a wonderful host who love what he does and offers great inside information on enjoying the island. We were only here for 5 days so it’s not long enough, but our last day here we organized a water taxi to Anse Mamin and rented umbrellas and chairs and spent the day snooping under our umbrella and playing in the water.
Gorgeous place with beautiful people can’t believe it’s already time to go home!!
Thank you, Janus!!

This place is everything everyone says! I already have friends back home asking for the info of your place, ill happily and confidently refer them.
We flew into St. Lucia arriving at 4:00pm. Janus had a driver (his brother! 😊) waiting for us with our names and confirmation code to confirm he was the driver. This was a very smooth process, so I recommend setting up transportation with Janus beforehand. Although there are many taxi drivers eager for business, so even if you don’t you’ll find a ride, but I can’t say for what price. It was $60 USD through Janus for the 1-hour drive to Sargas. It’s a very reasonable price confidently the driver answers all your questions, basically gives a little tour on the way and stops at the market if you ask. Our driver came in with us to help us out even! Super nice and helpful! Our first night here we were super tired from traveling & decided to stay in & get comfortable. Like everyone stated the house is better than expected so we took our time soaking in it.
Day 2- 03/15/18
Today we got an early start & decided to just start walking! We found the Botanical Gardens which was pretty. By the time we left it was getting heavy with tourists. We got there before they opened so we went up to the road just a little to the “Marie's” to get a morning cocktail (Really Good). They opened at 9am & the gardens at 10am. Then we went to Torielle Falls which was fun to go under the waterfall, for $3 USD. We made our way after to Fedo’s for lunch. Very reasonable prices! We thought the food was ok at Fedo’s. I got a burger and fries my husband got a fish meal and 2 piton beers for $USD18. Went back to the Villa, enjoyed the pool. Later for dinner we went to Ruby’s which is a short walk. We REALLY enjoyed this meal! We ordered the “Catch of the Day” (Mahi-Mahi)- so good and tried some rum punch! total cost was $66USD. The environment was cool (dark settings) & very friendly staff.
DAY 3 03/16/18
We woke up & made a big breakfast, we planned to hike Gros Piton today! Janus had a driver (Steven) pick us up at 7am. We got to the piton and started climbing a little after 8am. Go as early as you can!! I couldn’t imagine going mid-day with the heat. The cooler, the better. A lot of the trail is shaded but you would be drenched in sweat, bring a small towel (we used one from the kitchen) to wipe the sweat. The way up can be tough in some areas, honestly, we struggled more on the way down hah! Heavy breathing on the way up, shaky legs on the way down. Very good experience!! On our way back, we stopped at the market again for some more bananas 😊 and sun bathing by the pool. Later we walked to Ponty Pizza (Very Good) You order pizza from the cook and drinks at the bar and pay each person accordingly just an FYI. Very good prices for tasty food ($4 USD for 2 pitons, $20 for 1 small and one medium pizza). We continued and went for another drink at “Whispers” next door. Very cool experiences at both places if you want an authentic St. Lucia feel. Very loud music at any bar you pass! We continued walking and were approached by “Charlie” giving his “Shpeal” about his tour. We decided to bite this time actually! We gave his $60 USD deposit for our ticket for our tour on Monday I guess. We headed back home after that we’re trying to budget the best way we can…... so we discontinued our hunt for some rum punch.
Day 4 3/17/18
Today we booked a massage at Anse Chastenet & planned to spend a day at their beach. Massage was very expensive ($275 USD) but we don’t do it a lot, so we thought why not?! Then we headed to the beach for the rest of the day. The beach was very nice relaxing and peaceful! We stayed to the right side when looking out the ocean. We walked over to the sister beach, “Anse Mamin” which was also nice, a little less busy but we didn’t think the main beach was too busy either. We ended up taking a water taxi back to Soufriere. They asked $40 USD for the both of us …. My husband bargained and got them down to $20 USD 😊. Then we started walking too town again. We stopped at side road BBQ (there are lots of them around) and purchased food. They filled up our plates! $7 USD for the chicken plate, $10 USD for the seafood plate. Very good got a couple pitons from a bar and made our way back home! 😊
Day 5 3/18/19
Stayed at the Villa to relax and enjoying last day at this pool.
Day 6 3/19/18
Today is our last morning at SARGAS before we transfer to the Serena villa that Janus has. We’re getting packed and ready for the day. Today we meet Charlie down town for our day out on the boat. Again, we’re hoping it’s what he says it is (on a boat, Sulphur Springs Snorkeling, Batcave, Sugar Beach, Sandals Resort, 30min Jet Ski, and lunch at his Aunts with Creole food, water, pitons, rum punch, included for the day). We bit at $250 USD for the two of us together. We read reviews & apparently, he’ll drop to $100 USD/person. If it’s everything he said…. $250 is a great deal!
- this place is everything everyone says! We have two more days at Serena before we sadly head home. Thanks Janus for our comfortable stay! I already have friends back home asking for the info of your place, ill happily and confidently refer them😊
